This pair of murals celebrates the importance of the Monterey County Branch Library in Aromas. The building formerly was the home of the all-volunteer Aromas Fire Department but now houses the library and retail businesses. Its arched niches perfectly frame the charming paintings which depict rural residents enjoying a good read. In its central location, this pair of murals are among the most highly visible in our town, and beloved by children and adults alike.
