Aromas Hills Artisans

Public Art

AHA brings art to the Aromas area through workshops, events, exhibits, public art, and through our mural program. Murals are designed and painted by AHA lead artists, sometimes with involvement from local residents.

Pajaro River Bridge Mural

The Pajaro River bridge leading into Aromas was a commonplace highway structure, often marred with tagging. Painting a mural on the bridge by community members proved a good way to personalize and beautify the entrance to Aromas.

Dragonfly Gallery Mural

This enchanting mural was commissioned by Kathryn Aguras for her Dragonfly Gallery in downtown Aromas. The Dragonfly featured many of AHA’s artists’ works. In 2019, new owners of the building painted over this mural, so it no longer exists.
