Louise enjoys many forms of art and has been sewing for decades and quilting since 2005, designing and making commissioned quilts of her own design, utilizing a wide variety of techniques which keeps the activity fresh and exciting. As an occasional divergence from the precision of complex piecing, the creativity of a fabric landscape, sometimes including machine embroidery is liberating.
When not quilting, Louise also enjoys experimenting with other kinds of art such as a variety of fluid art techniques using acrylic paint; casting three dimensional smooth rocks for painting; creating resin art and pretty but useful dimensional objects and jewelry and the ancient art of quilling.
