My parents owned a Brownie 44 box camera which I used to play with when I was 5 years old. It was fun seeing everything upside down in the viewfinder. It was even more fun when they had it developed – nothing memorable but I was hooked. My first camera was a Kodak 35mm on my 10th birthday and I still have the black and white snaps from the first film in a scrapbook.
In the digital world, my passion is keeping things simple with a goal of straight from the camera to the printing. Composition is key, so minimal editing (brightness and contrast mostly). My portfolio consists mainly of wildlife, nature, sunsets landscapes, and macro. - http://www.coombesphoto.com
